I have a wash basin and matching pitcher that I am unable to identify. The confusion is that I have seen one ALMOST identical to it by Athena California ... the Victorian Rose pattern is the same and the pitcher and bowls look the same. The differences are in the placement of the rose decorations and the makers mark. Athena pottery is easily identifiable. I have searched and searched and cannot find the mark I have. As you will see in the photo attached, it's a fleur de lis crown that has a letter B on it. I'm wondering if it's a very early Athena or made by someone else? At first glance, it certainly looks like the Athena set, but upon closer look the roses are placed differently. Help?
Thanks, Nancy.
