"Pd" Whose pottery mark is this? Can anyone help?

This small bowl is glazed half dark blue I guess you'd say vertically. I volunteered to help a friend identify it and now I am unable. Please help me.

I also have a piece with the pd mark--am curious where you live--I am in Seattle--bought the vase years ago now at Goodwill. Mine has a salt glaze over reddish clay, bottom un-glazed--but clearly the same mark as in the photo. Additionally, mine has a second mark, also stamped into the clay--it's a small circle in a square.

I am glad somebody else has a piece of this stuff. I have the same question. Did you ever find out what the pottery mark was. I have two vases that are very 60's / 70's. If you know could you emial me scumbus@gmail.com
