small pitcherNEW by: Shirley
I have a small pitcher, about 5 inches high, with the New Jersey Pottery Co. logo and also written China on the bottom. It is white (or off white) with a green floral pattern on each side. I'd like to enter it as an antique piece in our State Fair this summer. Any information you can give would be greatly appreciated.

InformationNEW by: Aimee
Hi, I came across your post while looking up my own information for a piece of pottery I have from this same company. I live in NJ so I was able to have an idea where I needed to look.
The information I found was from the Trenton Historical Society and this is what they say about it:
THE NEW JERSEY POTTERY CO., TRENTON, N. J.
The New Jersey Pottery Co. was organized in 1869, at Trenton, and in 1883 the name was changed to the Union Pottery Co. The products were cream-colored and white granite wares. During the Presidential campaign of 1880 this company issued a series of plates with overglaze printed portraits of the candidates. The mark was printed in black beneath the glaze.
So, I believe the pieces we have are from 1869-1883.
Have a great day!

NJ Pottery CompanyNEW by: Cardinal
Since there is no response to the previous questions regarding NJ Pottery Company, could someone please suggest another way to find out the value of a bowl, probably made in the early 1900's? Thank you.
