Identify Pottery Mark (Made in USA within Acorn Shaped Stamp)

My 94 year old aunt just gave me a bean pot with the Made in USA printed inside an Acorn Shape.
Can you help me identify the maker?
Thanks

I also have a very old brown ribbed bowl with Made in USA in what looks like an acorn or maybe a shield outline. The UHL acorn logo looks completely different unless this a very early version. As an antique dealer for many years I know almost every USA mark, but this is a new one for me.

It's a common utility stoneware mark but no one seems to know for sure who to properly attribute it too.
