Crown Pottery water pitcherNEW by: Lynn Ransdell
We also have an old water pitcher which is all white (no color or patterns anywhere). The stamp on the bottom seems to read "C.P.C9"... not sure about the C9, could be GS. There is a picture of a crown just above the letters. I suspect this was produced by Crown Pottery of Evansville Indiana but, again, that is just a guess. I have no idea of its age... we just bought it at neighbor's yard sale for $3.00 and gave it to my mother who has another piece with similar markings given to her by her father many years ago.

c p c and crown stamp by: Anonymous
I have a water pitcher that has the same stamp--it has to be early 20th century or earlier, as if was my grandmother's. It is white; the pattern shows a colorful bird perched on a flowering tree.
