Can anyone identify this "c within a C" trademark? (photos)

Recently obtained this spackled white vase which I am having a hard time identifying the manufacturer. The vase, which measures 13 1/2" high, has the "c within a C" and "ORIGINAL U.S.A." incised on the bottom. Anyone familiar with this trademark?
