Brown and Off White Pot w/ White Swirl Mark

I purchased a piece at a garage sale last week.

Brown and off white pot w/ white swirl mark on the brown part.

The white swirl mark is on the outside towards the top.

It came with the original oak lid. The lid is very cool too. It's beveled so that it fits the opening and provides good closure. I can also tell that the lid is old because of the screw that holds the wood knob in place. It's a slotted screw, that was not mass manufactured.
