2 Similar Vases with Flower Trim at Top

One vase has the words ho and a Chinese sign and then sto Chinese sign gmina. I believe a crest with two men, one holding a shovel and an eagle on top of the crest the word soppe and something else I cannot read.

The other has the words Maryland Pottery, warranteed white granite and an eagle in the middle.
